Competition Rules for the DeGroote Case Competition 2025
General Rules

Cheating of any kind is not permitted

Utilization of AI tools are permitted

Presentations are to be submitted in .PPT or .PDF format

The 10-day Case will be submitted ahead of time online

The 6-hour and 3-hour Case will be placed on a USB drive that will be provided

Every team member must speak during each presentation

Every team member does not have to speak during the Q&A portions

Please refrain from reaching out to employees/judges of each case sponsor organization

Coaches will not be allowed to join participants when working on the 6-hour or 3-hour case.
Day 1 - Prepared Case
Prep time: 1.5 weeks long

Number of slides are limited to 20 (excluding introduction slides, Q&A slides, and appendices, which are unlimited)*

Presentation time will be 20min, with 10min of Q&A after

Each team will receive a 5min warning and 1min warning for time-keeping
Day 2 - Integrated Case
Prep time: 6 hours long

Number of slides are unlimited*

Presentation time will be 15min, with 10min of Q&A after

Each team will receive a 3min warning and 1min warning for time-keeping
Day 3 - Short Case
Prep time: 3 hours long

Number of slides are unlimited*
